Who we are: CAD delta provides architectural services to individuals and businesses.  We understand your privacy is important to you and that you care about how your personal data is used and shared online. In this Privacy Policy we will detail how we manage your data, how we use it and keep it secure. This policy applies to the use of our website and any other methods we use to collect data, such as email.

Definitions: 

'Our website' means CADdelta.co.uk 'CAD delta’, 'us', 'we', 'our' means CAD delta Ltd, whose trading address is Badgers Way, Sunset Close, Freshwater, Isle of Wight PO40 9JP.
'Cookie' small text files that are placed on your computer by websites that you visit.
'UK and EU Cookie Law' means relevant parts of the Privacy and Electronic Communications (EC Directive) Regulations 2003 as amended in 2004, 2011 and 2015.
'GDPR' stands for General Data Protection Regulation, an EU data privacy regulation that will come into force on 25th May 2018. It replaces the Data Protection Act (1998).

d)    the right to be forgotten, i.e. the right to ask us to delete or otherwise dispose of any of your personal data that we have. e)    the right to restrict (i.e. prevent) the processing of your personal data.
f)    the right to object to us using your personal data for a particular purpose or purposes.
g)    the right to data portability. This means that you can ask us for a copy of your personal data held by us to re-use with another service or business.
h)    rights relating to automated decision-making and profiling. We do not use your personal data in this way.

Types of data we collect: Some data will be collected automatically by our website; some will only be collected if you voluntarily submit it, for example, when signing up to receive e-newsletters and some will be collected using non-website-based methods, such as through our Terms of Service, or over the phone.  Depending on the method used, we may collect some or all of the following data:

  • name

  • email address

  • gender (inferred through name)

  • business/company name

  • job title

  • profession

  • telephone numbers

  • demographic information such as address, postcode, preferences and interests

  • occasionally, financial information such as credit/debit card numbers

  • IP address (automatically collected)

  • website browser type and version (automatically collected)

  • a list of URLs starting with a referring site, your activity on our site, and the site you exit to (automatically collected)

How and why we collect this data:

The use of cookies on our website: Our website has been built using Squarespace. Please view Squarespace's cookie policy for more information (https://www.squarespace.com/cookie-policy/). Cookies are used to make websites work more efficiently and to make the customer's user experience more enjoyable. They also provide information to the owners of the site. We have taken steps to ensure that your privacy is respected always. N.B. You may access our website without providing any data at all through our use of cookies. However, to use all features and functions available on our site you may be required to submit or allow for the collection of certain data.

Direct from you: For CAD delta to provide its services and for accounting purposes, it is necessary to collect data from our clients: name, address of site, contact address (if different), email address(es) and phone number(s).  This data is collected over the phone at first point of enquiry or through our website - Contacts Page - and thereafter via a form within our Terms of Service (contract of service); this is a formal opt in process to collect and store your details.   


Section 6
Where we store data:

This information is stored securely in our office, both in paper files and electronically (on our computers, within software such as Outlook).  Backups of that data are stored securely both locally and off site - protected by passwords.


Section 7
Do we share your data?

As part of our service, it is necessary for us to submit applications to the IW Council and this involves passing on only your name(s) and address which relates to the application site.  This information is made public knowledge as part of the application process. Also, the council ask that we provide one form of contact information in order so that they can, if necessary, contact the applicant (our client) direct. In addition to this, to support our services, we may need to contact other service providers such as Structural Engineers to not only obtain a quote but to liaise on client’s behalf. We will obtain client’s approval first (either by way of our Terms of Service, phone or email) before passing on either their contact address, email or phone number. We will never use your information for marketing purposes, nor will we pass it on to third parties, without your express permission.

Access to your personal information:

Under the GDPR, you are entitled to view, amend or delete the personal information that we hold. Email your request to graham@caddelta.co.uk


Section 9
Changes to this Privacy Policy:

We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. This may be necessary, for example, if the law changes, or if we change our business in a way that affects personal information.
