Planning Applications

CAD delta takes pride in not only having a good eye for design but also understanding the requirements of the planning process. The majority of our drawings are produced using the latest CAD software ensuring clarity. We can also offer a 3D visualisation service, which puts your proposals into a realistic setting. It is particularly helpful for more complex projects, assisting the decision making process. CAD delta is experienced in submitting planning applications for proposals within Conservation Areas and those affecting listed buildings. All applications are tracked during the determination period and any problems reported to the client and, where possible, negotiations are made on the client’s behalf. The client is kept informed at all times.

Building Regulations

CAD delta prepare detailed Working Drawings specific to the project. We submit the application on the client’s behalf to the Isle of Wight Council's Building Control department and if required to NHBC in order to obtain conditional approval. These drawings are also suitable for builders to price the work and to use for construction purposes. All working drawings are produced at large scale and include detailed plans, elevations and sectional drawings. These are produced using Computer Aided Design software, which gives clear and concise drawings and specifications, understandable to both the client and their builder.

Structural Engineering

CAD delta works closely with local structural engineering companies and will liaise direct on the client’s behalf in conjunction with our own Building Regulation Service from a simple beam calculation to steel framed buildings.

Project Management

CAD delta can offer project management services, overseeing the project and liaise between the client, the Local Authority and the contractor, including verifying interim payments. We endeavor to bring the contract to a timely completion.
